Pelican rescue!!

     I was happy to see all of the fisher-persons pitch in to catch this pelican to remove several lures and hooks from his bill. He was oddly calm....then went right back to chasing fish on hooks...:(

Flicker

We have a family of Flickers nesting in one of our dead trees. I love to listen to them calling from inside of the tree!

Immature Eagle

Silhouette of an immature Bald Eagle- practicing his wing flapping over the nest. They are almost ready to fledge.....they are so awkward :)
